Whether it’s members of your family or your close friends, an engagement or wedding announcement is the perfect time to pick out thoughtful gifts for the bride and groom. Some of the best engagement party ideas include having a stylish cocktail party or even just having a relaxed BBQ with close friends. However, one important part of planning the engagement party is to think about what could be the perfect gift to give to your loved ones on their wedding.
Oh well hello to some beautiful inspiration by the fabulous Tabitha Stark I was a bad blogger again and couldn’t decide on a small select group of images because Tabitha managed to capture so many different and gorgeous elements in each shot. I adore her bridal portraits, and I agree with her that its something lovely to do the morning of the wedding. It will help relax you in to the day and being in front of the camera and if you’re anything like me it will be the only time when you’re not potentially tear stained!
Good afternoon! We have a gorgeous wedding for you today, put together by the most amazing team of suppliers, their vision to create a stunning fairytale really came to life. I am living for the green velvet accents, the touches of lilac and the detailed wedding dress by Katya Katya. This was one of those shoots where all the images were so gorgeous that I really struggled reducing the numbers down, the team did such a good job and I love the vibe and feel of the editorial they created. The shoot was styled by the amazing team at La Fete.

My oh my, what a treat I have for you today. We’ve been looking forward to this trip for months and boy did it come at exactly the right time. After a really tough week, I was so thrilled that our trip to Cornwall fell over my birthday. Part one of our trip saw us traveling down to Cornwall, to stay in a cute seaside town called Mawgan Porth – think Padstow but without all of the hoards of tourists. Actually, it is only 7 miles away from Padstow so if you wanted to get your fix, you weren’t that far away anyway! We were staying at The Scarlet for the night, an adult-only luxury hotel that sits in the cliffs overlooking Mawgan Porth beach. They kindly put together a jam packed itinerary of spa treatments for us both but more on that a little later. Read More
Not gonna lie, winter is my favourite wedding time (please see me in July when I declare summer to be my favourite). I myself was a November bride. I like the chill in the air, no expectation for it to be a gloriously sunny day and I enjoy the excitement people often feel in the run up to Christmas, throw in a wedding and people are quite beside themselves. I also love the colour palettes around winter, its not all pastels and sweet colours, it is often rich, enticing hues of warm reds, deep purples, midnight blues and black. Todays editorial comes from a very talented team who tie all those lovely combinations together whilst taking inspiration from C.S Lewis – The Lion, Witch and The Wardrobe.

Hello! Choosing a band and entertainment was something I really struggled with during my own planning. I knew what kind of style of band we wanted but I found it tricky sourcing someone, mainly because when I was planning blogs/booking websites weren’t really a thing and it was mainly done through word of mouth. I ended up booking a really good local band but things weren’t finalised till a couple of weeks before and it was all very casual. Thankfully they were amazing and had us dancing all night but if I was planning now then the whole process has been made easy by people like Gig Heaven. They’ve provided some amazing insight in to booking the perfect band for your wedding day.
Good morning and merry Friday! Oh I am all over this crown/headband trend that is going on right now, I love that for your wedding you can be as paired back or as extravagant as you want. Me? I went full bling! I saw Cheryl Cole wearing a Jenny Packham headpiece on the final of the xfactor, this must be 2009, and just knew I wanted to wear it for my wedding. Todays editorial features some gorgeous jewels, beautiful bridal wear and the colour palette is stunning.

Having lived in Victorian houses for most of my life, lived in old towns and always had an appreciation for the way Victorians lived, I was intrigued when I got a victorian inspired wedding submission from Australia. The team put a creative and beautiful twist on the 1900s and something that can definitely carry through to 2020…
