Today we’d love to share {and give you the chance to win} a favourite new book of ours, The Crafted Garden. Perfect for adding some seasonal DIY touches to your wedding day. There are fifty easy to follow, step by step projects all made from seeds, flowers, sprigs and twigs you can find in the garden or hedgerow to make gifts, decorations and ornaments.

It’s written by Louise Curley, who also wrote the hugely popular Cut Flower Patch which gives a step by step guide on growing your own flowers. This book though I think is even better and I can’t wait to make a few of the projects for the Autumn and Winter. The squashes as vases in particular and the star made from twigs ready for Christmas time. There are tutorials on wreath making, using egg shells as tiny flower vases and making little nests for an Easter display, ideas on terrariums and using succulents.

Wedding wise, there’s tonnes of info and inspiration for table centrepieces, from elaborate woodland displays to simple pots made from bark. As well as how to make your own flower crown and guides for preserving flowers by drying and pressing to make them into a keepsake.

The book is out now, published by Frances Lincoln, and can be purchased here.

We’re also giving away a copy, simply head over to Phoebe’s Instagram or Twitter and comment with #sygmbookclub and we will choose a winner at random by Sunday evening.

Good luck!
