I will never tire of a Jenny Packham gown, they always look so beautifully elegant and always styled so differently no matter if the wedding is in a barn or a castle. Carol is no exception and looks stunning in her Damask gown and Ed’s Next suit is right up my street. When the bride is a florist, you know its going to be gorgeous! This weeks weddings are a particularly gorgeous lot by the way

Hair & Make Up – The lovely Sarah from Glamorous in Shelf did everyones hair and even helped out with make up tips, she was fab / the makeup I did myself.
No theme really I just like vintage, rustic looking things. When I purchased my dress I noticed it was very 20s so I based the rest of my accessories on that era. I suppose my theme was everything that is not traditional really, I hate traditional weddings. I made mostly everything myself. The boxes on the table, the table plan, the place mats, the alternative bunting, and I spent months decorating all the jars!!
We had cheese which was from yorkshirefinecheese.co.uk in Huddersfield. They cut this up in the evenin and we served it with pork pies, biscuits, fruit, chutneys etc
Maryanne Scott Photography she was fab, I love the pictures she has done it suits the wedding perfectly. She told me before the day that I wouldnt even notice she was there at times, and she was right! She mingled in completely with all the guests and got along with everyone.
My favourite part of the day was the silent disco. We even had our first dance with headphones on! Ive never seen so many people dancing at a wedding, from the first song onwards every single person at the wedding were up dancing… they were even people dancing outside with them on!! Everyone commented on how good it was we even had people coming in from the pub to join in!!
We spent a few days in Edinburgh, we asked for donations towards our honeymoon for presents so we were going to plan one with the money we received. We have now changed our mind to spending it on a caravan!!
