It is very easy. I have popped a spoonful in to my daily coffee as it makes it semi-Chai like. In to a tomato pasta sauce. And in baking. Inspiration was taken from the wonderful Vanessa Kimble.

You will need 

♥ A vessel ( I used an old jam jar just to test it out but will be making a larger batch soon)

♥ Cardamom pods ( I used about 15 for a jam jar, use more or less depending on how strong you’d like it to taste)

♥ Sugar ( I used golden caster as I prefer the taste in coffee, but any can be used)


Crush pods with the side of a knife blade. Pour some sugar into the jar, pop in a few pods then cover with a layer of sugar. Repeat until the jar is full. Seal and leave overnight.



Pretentious ribbon and label – optional.
