How is the New Year treating you? We are being whisked off to Scotland today for this stunning wedding. From the whisky table plan, the gorgeous blossoms and the pretty fairy lights in the venue, it is all just perfect. Robert and Lisa put together a very simple and elegant day, the moment with Lisa’s dad got me right in the heart when I was putting this together. Such a gorgeous capture.
Hello! A very Happy New Year to you all, I hope you had a wonderful Christmas? If you’re anything like I was, now that we’re into 2018 and all the festivities are out the way, you’ll want to get back to wedding planning and get your honeymoon organised. Having a trip booked and being able to look forward to it can make all the difference in what can be a very blah, cold and dark couple of months ahead. So as always at this time of year, I’ve put together my guide to new openings and developments in the honeymoon world for the year ahead. Get ready for some wanderlust! We’ve got everything from staycations to snowy ski lodges to safaris and tropical beaches.
Goooood morning! We are starting off the week with a gorgeous barn wedding. Natalie and Sam created a gorgeous day full of DIY touches, stunning dresses and dapper men. Their style played well in to Mythe Barn‘s beautiful decor, and they were absolutely spoilt with the weather. Hope you enjoy.
Happy New Year everyone! If you read my last blog post, you’ll know 2017 wasn’t the best year for me, and so I’m looking forward to 2018 and can officially say I GET MARRIED THIS YEAR! But this blog post isn’t about 2018… I want to take this opportunity to throw it back to my hen do in September 2017 which was the most perfect time with family and friends in Barcelona.
Prince Harry and Meghan are not the only ones tying the knot on 19th May 2018, myself and Oli are too! We announced our wedding date early summer this year and pipped them to the post (they obviously have good taste)!
Marrying on a weekend is deviating from the royal families past traditions. Although there are no official rules stating that they should get married on a weekday, other royal weddings in recent history have taken place during the week. Read More
From the industrial luxe editorial of yesterday to today’s countryside wedding. We blog it all on SYGM! I can’t believe how close to Christmas we are now, I still haven’t finished my Christmas shopping and I have no idea where I am actually spending Christmas but what I do know is that there will be lots of engagements and I am exceptionally excited for it!
Morning! We are in Essex this morning for this beautiful industrial luxe shoot. With the mix of metallics, hard industrial and soft pastel floral touches there is inspiration for everyone. The team worked hard to produce inspiration for couples that want something a little out of the box, who may be looking at less traditional venues and styling, showing that even an industrial gin bar in Essex can be turned in to a beautiful wedding venue.
Morning! Now, as much as I love my traditional Engilsh countryside garden type wedding, there is only so much pastel a girl can take before she is screaming for a little bit of colour. Enter Seema and Ryan. Naturally, all the weddings I blog are full of smiling faces, tears of happiness and lots of laughs but today’s wedding day takes that to the next level. So much colour, vibrancy, smiling faces and pure happiness that it is so hard not to smile your way through the images. Seema picked up her Sari in India and intended to fuse her and Ryan’s heritages throughout the day. It worked perfectly.
I’m writing this after a weekend in York with 10 of my best friends and it got me thinking about how lucky I am to have them all. I’ve already introduced my husband-to-be, and so now seems like an appropriate time to talk about the other great loves of my life.Read More
