a stunning hilltop farm wedding in Wales | uk wedding blog

facebook-profile-picture By Phoebe

Good morning! Oh I have so much love for this wedding. Not many couples have parents with a picturesque farm in Wales and a grandmother who used to be a dressmaker! I also don’t think many couples would look at a silage shed and think that it could be turned in to the ultimate rustic reception venue, but that is exactly what Ceri and Nick did. There are so many beautiful images taken by Mike in this post that I hope you don’t mind it may be a little picture heavy but I just couldn’t leave any out. I know you are going to love this wedding as much as I did.

#MondayMotivation: How I plan on getting in shape for my wedding

facebook-profile-picture By Claire

This post is for all those women (engaged, married or single) that need a bit of #mondaymotivation to get fit for a certain occasion. I am (I’m putting myself out there) about 2 stone heavier than I should be (at least), and definitely have more wobbly bits than I’d like. I’m terrible at sticking to diets, and will always put socialising above exercising. But now I’m getting married, I need a good kick up the bum and I’m going to share with you my tips to get motivated if you’re like me and sometimes, you struggle.

a gorgeous pastel, rustic DIY wedding on the Cornish coast | uk wedding blog

facebook-profile-picture By Phoebe

Afternoon and a happy Monday to you! We have a beautiful Cornish coastal wedding on the blog today. Natasha and Jacob made all of their wedding decorations to stay in their budget, they filled their day with rustic pastel pretty from flowers to table decorations. Jacob’s beautiful suit is from a popular high street retailer and I think it looks so dapper on him. Natasha looks the epitome of beautiful bride in her Benjamin Roberts gown. Add the stunning settings of a beach in Cornwall and you have yourself a rather gorgeous wedding day!

Gift List Woes.

There are a lot of differences between getting married today and when our great grandparents, grandparents and maybe even some of our parents got married. Marriage symbolised the start of a couples life together quite literally. Most people only moved in together following the wedding. The reality is, Callum and I met at university so although we didn’t live together, we spent a lot of time at each others place. We then moved in together straight after graduating, another year later bought our first house and are now on to our second! As a result, (and the fact that I have worked in Homewares and Gifting for almost 4 years) we have everything we need to make our house a home. I have billions of candles (literally), dozens of sets of glassware for every eventuality and a large stack of white company towels (lucky girl!) We even have a lovely, albeit plain set of Royal Worcester Serendipity fine bone China. So what are we supposed to say when our parents, grandparents and great grandparents want to give us a wedding gift?Read More

Review – six weeks using Lilash – longer healthier lashes | uk wedding blog

facebook-profile-picture By Phoebe

This post was a couple of months in the making, as I wanted to give Lilash the full 6 weeks to really do it’s thing (or to see if it even worked!) before I showed you the results.

My nail technician began using this a while back after seeing Nic Chapman’s Youtube video, and her lashes were so long after a few months that as soon as she started stocking it I knew I wanted to give it a go. Whilst I’m not desperate for ginormous eyelashes, like most of my hair my lashes are fine and fair,  so anything which promises thickness, curl and length sounded like a winner to me. Read More

MEGATONE WEDDING| Less than three months, Its starting to feel real

3 months till the MEGATONE WEDDING….That does not even feel possible! Where has the last year gone! The last few weeks have been very productive, and I’m feeling very organised but there is a slight panic in me about what have I forgot and what else do I need to do. There are some things which can’t be done till nearer the time, or till the Marquee is up! The wedding itself is nearly all paid off HALLELUJAH!!! The bridezilla control freak in me wants to write list upon list of instructions for each supplier, and myself with a job list and plans on who will be doing what! I thought I would share with you what we have been sorting over the last few weeks!

Palm Springs is also my new favourite place in the whole of America 😍.
