Currently Loving

I seem to do these every couple of months. Is that fickle? I hope that Michael can use the next one as his Christmas shopping list. Yes I used the C word. I am excited about it. This will be the first C word spent in our own home, which I will be turning in to a grotto. Fairy-lights and kitsch reindeer galore.

So this is what I am currently loving…

Burple and Prown

I love this colour combination, but there is always a danger of veering towards a Cadbury theme. I love how warm and rich the purple is when set against a chocolatey brown, it’s perfect for this time of year.

There will be some new bits and bobs being added to the blog over this week. Remember, if you’d like to feature just email

Enjoy this blustery day!

Tweedy, Not Cheryl

It’s nearly autumn, which means fur, feathers and tweed (for me anyway). Log fires, spiced treats and enjoying the fruits of a days shooting (not actual fruit obvs). I wish I had put Michael in tweed for our wedding day.

The beautiful gingerbread cape is by Holland Cooper. It is on my Currently Loving list (coming soon).

The stationery is by Knots and Kisses

The wedding dress is Pronovias

Feathered clutch is by Ferragamo

The flowers were from my wedding by Miss Pickering

Enjoy! What part of autumn are you looking forward to?

Just because its raining, that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it. So put on your wellies (if they aren’t being used as umbrella stands) and splosh!

I hope you all have a lovely weekend. Mine shall consist of spanish food, a good book, a few films and a whole lot of animals. I will fill you in on Monday, when I shall be blonde or brown.

…you probably didn’t know about me. (Following this post)

  • I used to play World of Warcraft. I stopped when I had a level 80 Tauren Druid. (I am a geek)
  • I have a bath every day, and I have done since I can remember
  • At a young age, whilst in Edinburgh, a gypsy put a curse on me.
  • I can play the violin and piano
  • Haha…I was in a “band”, we recorded a single and everything, it was called Come And Catch Me. I was worried it would make an appearance at the wedding

Did you all have a lovely bank holiday?

This is what mine consisted of…
Going out for supper…Christmas comes early in Leeds
Baking a birthday for Rachel

Setting up for a little birthday party, complete with candy bar…

We ate scallops, black pudding, jelly babies, maoam and drank prosecco. We discussed important matters such as almonds, the Pacific, Natalie Imbruglia and wedding photographers. We toasted the birthday girl who went home with her very own birthday bunting…
It was a beautiful day on Sunday,
I read this in bed, and enjoyed the illustrations
I then found new places to store umbrellas
And I found my sister’s face on the internet…
I hope you had a lovely time?
