Oh well hello to some beautiful inspiration by the fabulous Tabitha Stark   I was a bad blogger again and couldn’t decide on a small select group of images because Tabitha managed to capture so many different and gorgeous elements in each shot. I adore her bridal portraits, and I agree with her that its something lovely to do the morning of the wedding. It will help relax you in to the day and being in front of the camera and if you’re anything like me it will be the only time when you’re not potentially tear stained!

This inspiration shoot was held at Lartington Hall, in County Durham, in the pouring rain and wind. Any other venue would have been a problem to shoot in during such bad weather conditions, but luckily enough for the people of England, Lartington hall is light filled, airy and spacious, with the most beautiful details, such as the gold painted columns, and the traditional cast iron radiators.

The majority of the shoot was done inside, because of the said conditions. However, it really proved to me that even in England, with the ever changing weather, you can still create the most beautiful wedding photographs, which to me makes this one of the best venues in the UK.

Every corner of this venue is already beautiful, but the team of suppliers that worked so hard in the days leading up to the shoot managed to make it even more beautiful. Weddings to me are about romance, and romance just oozed from displays and tables scapes that were created.

Our couple was one of the most gorgeous real couples that i’ve had the pleasure of photographing, almost making my job as the photographer easier. The bride wore a beautiful Alexander Greco dress, with beautiful appliqué details, and fluttering sleeves, and the most stunning head gold head band which reminded me of a grecian queen. I don’t think you can beat a wedding g dress with sleeves, they’re so flattering and beautiful and make for such exquisite pictures.

As a photographer, one of my favourite part of the day is doing the bridal portraits. As you’ll see, the ones form this day were gorgeous, almost victorian, resembling an old oil painting. Details such as collar bones, and lips are included, along with story telling pictures of the full length of the gown, and the shoes. If a bride sets aside a little time on the morning of the wedding, she can be captured at her absolute best, and become even more relaxed in front of the camera.
