Summer is here people! I’m really looking forward to those balmy summer evenings, BBQs and of course the sun! Today I’ve rounded up a whole host of honeymoon destinations for those who are still looking for inspiration on where to jet off to after you’ve said ‘I do!’. Whether you’re looking for 5 star luxury or a total adventure, we’ve got you covered. All of the hotels and resorts listed below are the perfect spot for honeymooners and know just how to treat newlyweds.

Niyama Private Islands

Who doesn’t love the look of honeymooning in the Maldives? This place looks so dreamy it doesn’t seem real! It is absolutely no surprise that Niyama has just won The Most Instagrammable Hotel for 2019 in the Luxury Travel Advisor awards. Set across two spacious private islands, appropriately named Play and Chill, connected only by a single wooden bridge across the Indian Ocean, Niyama Private Islands is a truly special Maldivian resort in the south-western atoll of Dhaalu. Chill island is ideal for couples who want to just relax and take in the absolute beauty that is the Maldives. Play island is perfect for newlyweds who want to combine the luxury of being in the Maldives with that crystal clear blue sea and something to keep you occupied every day. Niyama is known for its incredible surfing instructors who can teach you how to ride the waves, take you scuba diving, or make use of their outdoor cinema.

British Airways now do direct flights to the Maldives between November and March; such a fuss-free of getting to the ultimate honeymoon destination.

We are lucky enough to be visiting in April so keep your eyes peeled for our full review of this incredible place.
