New Burt’s Bees Natural Lipsticks Review | UK Wedding Blog

It’s finally March! I’m definitely feeling Spring is on it’s way, so it’s time to inject some colour into our lives again! (yay). This week I thought I’d show you these lovely new lipsticks from Burt’s Bees which arrived to my mailbox – not only are these as moisturising as a lip balm but they are 100% natural and reasonably priced at £9.99. The Burt’s Bees natural lipsticks are –

~ available in 18 shades

~ smooth, satin/hydrated finish

~ 8 hour moisture

~ contains Vitamin E, Beeswax, Moringa Oil, and Raspberry Seed Oil

~ made from 60% recycled materials

5 of the 16 available shades – L – R – Tulip Tide, Doused Rose, Fuchsia Flood, Blush, Iced Iris

These are easy both to apply and to wear – these have a comfortable, hydrating finish and a buildable, opaque pigment which makes them wearable for day or evening. These definitely do not have mega long-lasting staying power, as they have a glossy hydrating finish rather than matte, so you’d need to reapply after eating or a few hours, but as I’m an obsessive lip-reapplier that doesn’t bother me. As these have a sheerness to them they wear by gradually fading rather than drying out, and the moisture definitely stays even when the colour begins to fade. I know everyone is still having a matte moment, but the flatness and dryness of a matte doesn’t always do it for me – my day to day will forever be a glossy finish.  Forget a liner – keep these soft for a natural finish.

Fuchsia Flood

These are also a good price at £9.99 – bridging the gap between high end and high street, and there’s plenty of modern, wearable but trend led colours – with berries, natural pinks, fuchsias, nudes, damsons and reds to choose from. These would be gorgeous for bridal or bridesmaids too – perfect texture for regular quick reapplication throughout the day, and hydrating enough to not dry out the lips.

These are available from Feel Unique here or on the Burt’s Bees here for £9.99 each.
