There are five in total, today we say hello to two of them. After sadly losing Olivia and Holly to married life it is time I get myself together and move on. I had so many applications this time round and was often asked what I was looking for in the submission, to be honest I didn’t really know but on reading and getting to know the girls chosen, I know they are going to be the perfect fit for SYGM. So please give a warm welcome to Megan and Helena
I thought we should find out just a littttle bit about them so we can explore more through their planning blog posts, if there is anything in particular you want covered by the girls just let me know and I will make sure to pass it all on. Megan and Helena are both getting married in May 2017, so just under 6 months to go!

Hi I’m Megan a floral obsessed bride to be, I’m one of the floral sister owners at Swaffham and Fakenham florist in Norfolk, with being lucky enough to decorate over 80 wedding a year it’s an understatement to say I have a huge passion for all things weddings and flowers. I am getting married to Tony (Tone) in my childhood village church followed by a marquee reception in Tone’s parent’s garden on Saturday 20th May 2017, it meant a lot to me to choose places that were so personal to ourselves. I am a very impulsive, organised person, who likes to get things done, who can stress over finer details which others won’t notice on the day but to me it makes all the difference #megatonewedding

Helena & Callum
I’m Helena and my fiancé is Callum. We met on the very first night of university in Lincoln (and I absolutely could not stand him!) but we now live together in Tunbridge Wells. We got engaged (completely out of the blue) in Antigua in June 2015 and are getting married on May 27th 2017.
After taking part in #marriedmay I saw that So You’re Getting Married were looking for a batch of new brides and thought I would love to be involved!
Cal and I are getting married at his parent’s cottage ‘Peppers’ that they have just bought and are currently renovating. I was literally chopping down for trees and hauling them into a bonfire to make space for the marquee.. There are photos!
I am a huge bargain hunter and a DIY kind of girl so hopefully I will have a lot to share with you all. I can’t wait to hear about everyone else’s plans and hopefully get some advice, hints and tips! I like the idea of helping give other brides some inspiration or ideas to help with their planning and hopefully it will be something others can relate to as we are paying for it all ourselves and are on a budget- not a tiny one but one that is realistic for two 20 somethings.
