I struggled planning a wedding within my hometown from Leeds. I can’t imagine what extra stresses there are when planning from abroad. Over the past year or so of blogging I have noticed a dramatic increase in couples choosing to marry abroad within Europe. With a different currency and language barrier being two of the obvious hurdles, you need someone on the other side (not the upside down) to help you through the planning. If you are thinking of marrying in The Med then The Wedery will be able to help.
The Wedery will not only help you plan your wedding, they will make sure you have a truly authentic Mediterranean day from the decor to the catering. The Wedery work with the best suppliers in the Valencian and Murcia region to make sure the food at your wedding will be fresh, authentic and downright delicious.
If you are still thinking about where to get married then have a look at some of the venues The Wedery offer. I love the look of the Finca Torre Bosch. Rambling gardens, forests, woodlands, swimming pools and a charming building all bathed in mediterranean sunshine. The dream!
Food and venue sorted, I guess we should talk about the actual planning. The Wedery consists of 4 team members (you can read more about them here), all are on hand to help you through the planning process. All of the minor details will be taken care of, customs explained, flowers chosen, everything.
There are various packages available, for example the gold pack includes nearly everything you could want from hair and make up being sourced, to photography, videography, transport, cake the ceremony and all co-ordination taken care of. You can look at some of the weddings they have planned here. As far as planners go, The Wedery don’t sit under the stereotypes you may think of. They are cool, current and there won’t be a chair cover in sight.
