This is the newest addition in the L’Atelier De Givenchy collection, which is exclusive to Harrods and Givenchy Boutiques, and joins 9 other Haute Couture fragrances, each inspired by the signature designs of the brand and its heritage.  Iris Harmonique uses key notes from each of the other 9 fragrances to create something super unique.

I’ve categorised this as a bridal fragrance because other than thinking it’s a great wedding perfume, the price tag is on the hefty side, one which I imagine many women would only be willing to spend for their big day (£150 for 100ml). It is a super high quality fragrance with a strong concentration, however, of which you only need a very small spray to make a lasting and noticeable impression.

“L’ Atelier De Givenchy Iris Harmonique ~ a captivating white iris fragrance from Givenchy. Complemented with nine fine ingredients found in Haute Perfumery, this woody powdery floriental fragrance creates an enigmatic and addictive aroma”

Notes ~ Neroli, angelica,

Ylang ylang, immortelle flower,

Amber, white leather, guaiac wood, our wood, coconut wood

Isn’t this visual gorgeous?

This perfume is a lot of things – it’s powdery, spicy, warm, woody and has plenty of depth. It has floral elements in the iris, and a hint of green freshness in the angelica but is by no means super girly, sweet or flowery – this is different (and we all know I just love different!). It has an almost liquorice, almost masculine-like kick to it on first spray, but it dries down to a beautiful, heady and soft fragrance. The bottle is simple, clean and elegant, but timeless at the same time – and one which will look very instagrammable in your wedding prep photos!

{ You’ll love this if you love perfume like Chanel No 19, Tom Ford fragrances, Miller Harris Terre D’Iris }

If you are looking for a distinctive, grown up, modern fragrance, this is perfect for a modern, confident, fashion loving bride – I’d totally wear this on my wedding day (and there’s not a lot of fragrances I’ll say that about because I am pick-y!)

Givenchy Iris Harmonique costs £150 for 100ml and is available here.
