theBalm New Summer Makeup Launches |UK Wedding Blog

You all know by now my love for theBalm – and it’s been great to see it growing over the last year or so in popularity and accessibility (as so it should – they have some real hero products including the Nude ‘Tude palette and the gorgeous Louminizer highlighters). Here are some of their brand new offerings for summer, which I have been trying out this week*. A gorgeous new long-wearing blush joins their extensive collection, along with new PickUp lip liners, long lasting and highly pigmented.

Balm Beach

Balm Beach {£15.50)

This beautiful warm-neutral blusher is a soft terracotta colour with a satin matte texture (ie. a sheen but no shimmer) and is perfect for a no tan-tan look – being pale it’s rare I find any kind of warm toned blush that works but I have to say I love this! Cheek sculpting and complexion enhancing at the same time, this will work on most light – tan skin tones.  Plus it’s long wearing, fade resistant and is actually a staining powder blush, so great for holidays, beach, and hot summer days when you worry about your makeup sliding off!

Pickup Liners

Pickup Lip Liners {£14}
With 8 colours to choose from, these long wearing liners are creamy, super pigmented and designed not to feather or bleed. These are super soft, and work well with both liquid lipsticks, and normal lipsticks. They stay put really well-  I wore one as a lip colour all over my lips the other day with just gloss on top and it didn’t budge despite the heat. Available in 8 shades – including a true red, nude pink, nude brown, orange red, and a beautiful magenta – here are the shades (such cute packaging too! I always love the tongue-in-cheek retro styling).

Sandy hands – taking pics at the beach!

Will you be trying any of these? Available from Superdrug and Feel Unique.
