Our second dose of pretty today. I don’t quite know how we are managing to cope with all this gorgeousness? This group of talented women name themselves The Dream Team, and that they certainly are. From the gorgeous hair and make up, the choice of gowns to the beautifully placed flowers and photography. All of it works so well. It is such an honour to be able to share their work with you, and inspire those of you in the planning process. I want a horse. And a flower crown.
In the midst of wedding season madness, the last thing you’d expect a group of busy wedding suppliers to be doing is planning a styled shoot. Well, we must be crazy, because that’s exactly what we did!
The look we were going for was ethereal, English rose with a modern, up to date edge. Floral crowns are still going strong and we asked our friend The Flower Stylist to create something super pretty to go with the look. Ann teamed garden roses with beautiful dahlias and in-season berries for a twist.
With the hair and make up talent of Lynndy Rolfe and Joanne Tromans teamed with some gorgeous dresses by Fairytale Weddings, Towcester, the girls created some beautiful looks in the Northamptonshire countryside. Daisy from Fairytale picked dresses from Cymbelline, Mooshki and Ellis Bridal to compliment the dreamy, woodland look – delicate lace and soft tulle were the order of the day…
We stumbled on a field of horses at one point in the day. Being brave, we decided to venture onto their territory, got scared and ran for the hills! When we were safely over the other side of the gate Sophie was brave enough to give them a little stroke and made a friend for life. That or he just wanted to eat the pretty bouquet!
This is the third styled shoot us girls have worked on and it gets better every time. We affectionately refer to our collective as The Dream Team as we always seem to come up with something special when we’re together.
Here’s to number 4…
