Good morning, and merry Monday! I hope your weekend was fun filled? We have got beautiful weddings Monday – Wednesday, a competition to win your wedding photography, more thirty under thirty and another whats in my bag. But on to this mornings wedding…
I think Emily is the smiliest bride I have ever blogged. As you will know, I am a bunting fiend and this wedding has plenty, plus fairy-lights in abundance. Tom and Emily’s approach to the flowers is the best way if you want a professional finish but need to cut costs. This is going to ease you in to Monday morning quite beautifully.

Bridal bouquet, bridesmaids corsages and button holes- Bloom Box Flowers.
Venue flowers we did ourselves. We went out and selected the flowers we liked two weeks prior to the wedding at Covent Garden Flower Market and had them delivered the day before. My mum, friends and family helped with the flower arrangements.

A friends mum, who also did amazing cupcakes for our engagement party. Mary’s House of Cakes.
We had a friend’s band for the reception drinks called ‘Famous Four‘ who play arrangements of classic tunes and rarities from the 1920s and 1930s.
Our caterers were Basil, based in Tunbridge wells. We had a hog roast. Salads were ready in bowls on the tables and we had one guest on each table serve the meat from a platter wearing an apron we had designed, which worked really well. Friends and family made homemade cakes for dessert.
Evening buffet food we did ourselves with pork pies, apples and a selection of cheeses. We purchased the drinks ourselves and the catering team ran a bar in the evening.
Enjoy every moment as it goes by so fast. Make the planning fun for the both of you and use each other talents to help you build your special day. A big tip is to ask friends and family to lend a hand. Everyone wants to part of your big day.
