Well we are marching in to September in the most beautiful of fashion. I love this wedding, it is so British. There’s pie, tea and biscuit favours, rain, umbrellas, telephone boxes and pretty flowers in jam jars. There is also some peplum action, there needs to be more peplum action in the world. I hope you enjoy, another incredible wedding added to the under 10k category!

So many! Seeing Simon and his reaction at the ceremony. Looking out at the start of the meal to all our friends and family and realising we had made it happen. Having a good dance, my mum can move! I could go on, basically everything about the day, it really was the most happiest and perfect day!
Dress – by Alexia, altered by a good friend who is a professional seamstress, thanks Gabby! Shoes, BHS.

Include each other in the planning process! I would have been lost without Simon’s help and would have never wanted to take it all on myself, it was lovely to have his input and ideas, he was great at sourcing out the cheapest accessories too! Pinterest was a great help to for things such as buttonhole ideas or centre piece ideas.

£9,000.
It was pretty rustic and DIY. Lots of bunting, hessian, glass jars, ribbon and lace, woodern centre pieces, bright colour flowers and lots of lavender for a lovely scent!
Mini boxes of Teapigs teabags and Borders biscuits. Party bags for the children!
All but the pies were provided by Mandy at Laskill. Pies came from our local butchers, Blackwells of Norton.
