Last week, So You’re Getting Married had the pleasure of being invited to the Alex Monroe  ( Tie the Knot Event – a week dedicated to celebrating all things wedding, and to launch new additions to the Alex Monroe Goldcrest range ( If you haven’t yet heard of Alex Monroe then you are in for a treat! In Emily’s absence London based bride-to-be and bridal PR gal Gabi from Sweetpea PR (, headed to Alex Monroe’s boutique to discover their latest collections. Over to Gabi…

Already being a huge Alex Monroe fan I was very excited to have the opportunity to attend the Tie the Knot event and the morning certainly didn’t disappoint! Greeted by the friendly staff, stepping into the boutique was like no other jewellers I have been to. Beautifully styled with handmade ribbon bunting made by the in house team themselves – the shop was brimming with wedding day inspiration. Dotted with potted plants and floral blooms, each piece of jewellery in the shop is displayed beautifully, with necklaces strung from vintage books and rings perched a top of mini flowerpots. The entire boutique has been beautifully put together and is a treasure trove of treats.

Although I was already familiar with Alex Monroe collections I wasn’t aware of their range of engagement rings and wedding bands – something all SYGM readers should know about! Based on their classic nature-infused designs, with a luxurious update, the rings are made from 18ct gold and incorporate a range of diamonds and precious gems. Here are a few of the designs on offer.

If you’re looking for something truly bespoke the in-house team can design and create your very own unique piece. Couples can work closely with the team to choose their own design, materials and stone or diamonds. Here are a few bespoke designs created by Alex Monroe himself and the team:

After a tour of the workshop to see where the magic happens I was able to browse through the boutique, where there really is something for everyone! These gorgeous cufflinks caught my eye – the perfect wedding keepsake for your groom.

When it comes to gifts for your best girls you are spoilt for choice. From their delicate earrings and nature inspired bracelets to the new Goldcrest Enchanted Alphabet Collection (to die for) the options are endless! Each piece has been so delicately handcrafted they are certain to stand the test of time and serve as the perfect memento of your big day.
