April seemed to go so quickly!! Come backkkk. Whilst I enjoy heading towards summer, I do wish time would slow down just a little bit. My March favourites can be found here, and this month it will follow the same format. April has been an OK month, I accomplished a lot blog wise including a highly commended award, I told you all about the book and continued to get to know so many of you! I also accomplished a lot in my personal life, still dilly dally over blogging about this but holding off for now. So let me know what you have loved this month and I hope you enjoy mine.

Food – Oh this one was easy. After giving up chocolate for lent, I have been allll over anything chocolate. I headed straight to Tasty Leeds (you must go if you’re local) and had the most incredible rocky road. That weekend I consumed 2 pieces and a brownie.

Drink – Gin. Simple. Have you tried the new Gordon’s elderflower yet? I still haven’t. If you want a great gin selection but don’t want to drink in town (Leeds) then head to The Stew and Oyster in Oakwood, currently working my way through their gin shelf. Geranium gin is my favourite.

Perfume – Ahhh. Rediscovered my wedding perfume which is aptly called Spring Flowers by Creed (yes I know, I got married in November) if you can find it, give it a good sniff.

Technology – Apple TV is brilliant, ours seems to be slightly temperamental but the tech behind it is fab. I use it daily to do my online course of pilates, simply logging in on my phone then sending it to the TV. We also watch a lot of Netflix through it. For £99 it is totally worth it if you are an Apple household.

App – Oh god. 2048. Just download it.

Film/TV – Michael and I watch a lot of films. Like a lot. But this month Fargo (the TV series) has totally captured my attention. Sunday nights are now my TV highlight. It is wonderfully done, so atmospheric and both Martin Freeman and Billy Bob Thornton are fantastic. There has only been two so far, so make sure you catch up on 4OD.

Book – I have just started The Perks of Being a Wallflower, I skipped the film because I wanted to read the book and I am finally getting round to reading it!

Song – Kiesza Hideaway. I love that the video was taken in one shot. Incredible dance moves over the decades.

Make Up – Mother In Law went to Dubai and kindly brought this back. The gel eyeliner in it is so good!! Eyeshadow colours also gorgeous, has become a daily addition. Who doesn’t love a bit of Dior. 3348901057950

Nail Polish – Royal Botanical Gardens by Nails Inc. Perfect spring shade, and it makes you look tanned.

Skin Care – Loving this stuff! I love the smell and feel of my skin after cleansing. It does an excellent job and removing my many layers of make up (more is more). Oqibo are a relatively new brand but they already have quite a following. oqibo-purifying-cleanser-and-toner

Blog post – Most popular blog post of the month was this gorgeous real wedding  This Nonsuch Mansion wedding was close behind though! Gosh, I love weddings.

Tweeter – With out this lady I would not have been able to put my dream dining table together. It is @rw_interiors and Emma’s website is here. It is still a work in progress, with 2 more chairs to go but she has been so helpful in sourcing a table, and deciding colours. Rubbish photo but you get the gist.
