MarriedMay

Goooooooood morning lovely ladies (and gents, I think). I hope your weekend was lovely? I decided to remove social media for a few days but I am now back to blogging and spamming your feeds. A friend of ours gave birth over the weekend so if you have any present recommendations for them or their new baby girl send them my way, I am clueless!!

I wanted to write a little post today just to explain #marriedmay. You may have seen me mention this a few times on twitter or instagram but I thought I should pop it on here just in case you aren’t au fait on those platforms. I love seeing people document their lives pictorially, sometimes I prefer to instagram to twitter especially on weekends. It is full of breakfasts, lazy days, happy children, weddings and drinks. I love the #100happydays or the Fat Mum Slim #photoaday tags that are on there and I thought it would be nice to have a wedding one!

Whilst it is aimed at those planning their wedding, those already married can take part, and those who just want to plan their dream wedding and hopefully not repel prospective husbands in doing so are welcome to join in also. All you have to do is upload an image each day to instagram, twitter, facebook or your blog based on that days title and tag #marriedmay so we can all see and enjoy your wedding plans.

A few people have asked if it will be a continuous thing, the answer is I am not sure. It was quite challenging thinking up 30 different things associated with wedding planning, let alone 365 but we will see how it goes!

I really hope you join in, I think it is going to be so much fun. We are all inherently nosey people and it it a beautiful way of having a gander at other peoples weddings. So see you on May 1st!!!

[…] If you follow me on Twitter, Facebook or Instagram you may have noticed that I am taking part in #marriedmay. It is basically a platform for sharing images of either your wedding planning or memories depending on whether you are a bride to be or a wife! If you want to read more about it, you can do over on Phoebe Millers fabulous blog So You’re Getting Married. […]
