Good morning all! I hope that if you are down in London town you are enjoying another heatwave whilst perusing the blog. If you are sat in 30 layers next to the radiator like me then you may be slightly more grumbly this morning but this wedding will definitely help! It makes me want to move to Rye, eat ice cream and frolic on the beach.I adore how many happy smiling guests Tim captured (especially the children!). Sigh. We shall gallivant in summer sun soon!
What Tim said about the day –
The wedding ceremony was as Rye Town Hall, it’s an amazing place with loads of history. The guy in charge on the day took us upstairs through a tiny door and showed us a museum they have up there but I don’t think it’s for normal tourists. There was some torture equipment there because years back they were wary of the French invading. There was the equipment from the last man to publicly killed and he was still in it!! But the view from the roof was stunning. The ceremony was rung in by the town cryer and he also escorted Stu and Lisa out of Rye by walking in front of their car.The celebration was at the Gallavant, Camber Sands, where a picnic was provided on the beach, the kids were flying kites and everyone else was singing and having a ball. We took some fab photos here. Lisa is a interior designer and Stu was a pro snowboarder and they really knew how to throw a party.
