I have the pleasure in introducing a wonderful photographer who has a talent at captivating those moments when you think no one else is watching. It helps when the brides are as beautiful as the ones below, perfectly captured by Hannah.

Bit of background on Hannah and the business:
I grew up just outside Blackpool and then moved to Wales to go to film school…3 years and a few short films later I ‘discovered’ photography and realised that it was still rather than moving images that I wanted to do for the rest of my life!
I ended up moving back to Lancashire and became a music photographer around Manchester and Liverpool. After a couple of years photographing the likes of Florence and the Machine, Skunk Anansie and Will Young I got asked the question every photographer gets asked…”Will you photograph my wedding?” At this point I’d always sworn I’d never be a wedding photographer, I was convinced it was all posed groups and tired smiles but the couple only wanted documentary shots of their day so I agreed, thinking it would just be a one off. How wrong I was!

That first wedding was the most tiring but fulfilling job I’d ever done and I was hooked. Since then I’ve been lucky enough to photograph some fantastic weddings and see some beautiful places. It’s a cliché but this really is one of the best jobs in the world!

My style has remained the same since my first wedding, I’m there to capture the day as it happens, all the moments that flash past for the bride and groom but they can then remember as soon as they look back through their photos. There’ll always be a few posed shots for the parents but then I love having some time away with the couple getting some relaxed portraits together.

Favourite place that you have had the opportunity to photograph:
I was lucky enough to travel to Azillanet in France for a wedding. A beautiful couple, gorgeous sunshine and a French village full of vineyards, you can’t really ask for more as a photographer!
Advice for nervous brides about having their photo taken all day?
Relax and enjoy it as much as you can, I’m there to capture the excitement and love of your day and I promise a lot of the time you won’t even notice I’m around!
Even when we take time out to get some photographs of you and your new husband it’ll still be very relaxed and fun. Look at that time as a breather for the two of you, a chance to say “hi”!
In fact, the one key piece of advice I could give any bride and groom for their day is to take one moment to just pause and take it all in, especially the smaller details that you might otherwise miss. The day will fly by quicker than you think.
